Alcolapia species flock from Lake Natron Tanzania

GEOG 535 Field Trip to Mer Bleue
Thanks Pablo and Oliver for helping out with the GEOG 535 field trip to Mer Bleue! Students had fun learning about field spectrometery, ground truth data collection and UAV imaging.
Digital Globe Foundation Image Grant
Thank you to the Digital Globe Foundation for their imagery donation to the Fish + Forest Project! The high resolution satellite imagery for the entire Middle Xingu
River in Brazil will allow us to map baseline
habitats for several endemic fish species such as the iconic zebra pleco
(Hypancistrus zebra).
