Congratulations to Dr. Hedjam on his appointment as Assistant Professor!
Congratulations to Dr. Rachid Hedjam on his new appointment as Assistant Professor at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman!
Dr. Hedjam is a postdoctoral fellow at ARSL working on applications of machine learning to remotely sensed data.
He is also part of the Indian Ocean World Centre MCRI Project through
the IOW Human -Environment Interaction Database. He developed novel
methods that can applied to historical document and map analysis as well
as change detection algorithms for satellite imagery. We wish him all
the best in Oman in his new career!
